A message from the organisers:
We’re excited to open submissions for the Star Brewery Summer Exhibition, a seasonal group show celebrating contemporary artistic practices across disciplines. We welcome applications from emerging and established artists working in painting, illustration, photography, mixed media and sculpture.”

Available Exhibition Spaces:
100cm (W) × 100cm (H)
 wall spaces – 10 available
50cm (W) × 100cm (H) wall spaces – 7 available
3D exhibition spaces (plinths/floor) – 3 available

An exhibition fee and a small commission on sales will apply, but the following services are included in the cost;

Exhibition installation
Gallery staff will assist with hanging and positioning artwork professionally, in accordance with the gallery’s display standards:

Promotion & Marketing
Exhibitions hosted by the gallery receive promotion and outreach, providing the artists with direct exposure to the gallery’s buyers, collectors, and a broader audience:

  • Online Presence: The exhibition will be prominently showcased on the Gallery’s and The Makers Directory websites, social media channels, newsletters, and mailing lists, ensuring broad visibility

  • Collector & Buyer Exposure: Exhibitions are promoted to the Gallery’s network of collectors, art buyers, and subscribers, providing targeted exposure

  • Press Coverage: Press releases are distributed to media contacts to generate editorial coverage and publicity 

Gallery Expenses

  • Gallery rent and utilities

  • Public liability insurance

  • Security, including cameras, alarms, and ICO compliance

  • Lighting maintenance

  • Web hosting and newsletter subscriptions

  • Internet and phone

  • Repair costs after the exhibition

  • Private View staff, setup and clear-up, and wine

  • Administration

  • Design of online flyers and Private View invitations

  • Writing the press release for the exhibition
