“I design and hand-make bespoke jewellery in high carat golds, silver and precious gemstones. I exhibit widely, sometimes holding my own shows, and draw inspiration from the designs of English Medieval jewellery and the colour and splendour of Moghul treasures.
From my workshop I also run a program of jewellery-making courses, suitable for all abilities, and have authored several books on jewellery-making for students. I have enjoyed sharing my knowledge further afield by working with ‘Turquoise Mountain’ a charitable organisation that establishes jewellery workshops and training program, empowering a new generation of jewellers in places including Thailand, Nepal, Afghanistan, Jordan and Myanmar.”
